Former Riverside Teacher Pleads Guilty in YouTube Sexual Abuse Case
NBC Los Angeles spoke with Partner Dave Ring following former Riverside teacher Andrea Cardosa’s guilty plea in the sexual abuse of two female students between 1997 and 2001.
On Thursday, January 22, Ms. Cardosa pled guilty to three counts of lewd acts with a child, involving two victims after she was confronted by one of her former students, Jamie C., via a recorded conversation that was posted on YouTube one year ago.
Mr. Ring, who represents Jamie C., commented on her behalf saying, “She wants to thank the Riverside Police Department and the Riverside D.A. for believing her and for doing a tremendous job.”
