Janice H. v. Here Lounge Selected for Inclusion on “California’s Million Dollar Verdicts” List
The Recorder published its list of “California’s Million Dollar Verdicts” featuring the largest verdicts in 2014 across a range of practice areas. John Taylor and James Lewis’s verdict against Here Lounge in West Hollywood was ranked the fourth largest premises liability verdict of the year. Mr. Taylor and Mr. Lewis secured a jury verdict against the bar in the amount of $5.4 million.
The firm represented plaintiff Janice H. after she was brutally assaulted and raped by a male staff member in a handicapped bathroom stall at Here Lounge.
