Natalie Weatherford Named to the Daily Journal’s Top Women Lawyers 2021 List
Taylor & Ring is proud to announce that partner Natalie Weatherford has been named to the Daily Journal’s Top Women Lawyers 2021 list. Every year, the Daily Journal recognizes the top 100 women lawyers in California for their work in their respective fields. The Daily Journal also interviews the honorees to highlight the most prominent cases they have handled over the last 18 months.
Natalie Weatherford, who joined Taylor & Ring as an Associate in 2012 and made partner in 2020, was recognized for the work she is doing on behalf of victims of sexual assault and sexual violence. She has helped secured more than $100 million in trial verdicts and settlements on behalf of her clients. One of these verdicts, in Stephen W. v. Westerly School of Long Beach, was listed in the National Law Journal’s Top 100 Verdicts of 2018. She has been recognized by Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars since 2014, and has previously been named to Law360’s Rising Stars, and was a Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles’ (CAALA) “Rising Star” Trial Lawyer of the Year Finalist. She has also authored and co-authored numerous articles for The Advocate, and is a popular conference speaker for CAALA.
For Natalie, however, the primary end result is justice for her clients. She fights to hold wrongdoers responsible, which is why she currently has more than 30 cases pending against California school districts and other individuals and entities. In her interview with the Daily Journal, she talked about what she does to protect her clients at every step of the process.
