Taylor & Ring Files Lawsuit Against Hueneme Elementary School District and Former Teacher for Sexual Abuse
Taylor & Ring filed a lawsuit against Hueneme Elementary School District and former teacher Jose Felix for sexual abuse of a minor. The complaint alleges that the plaintiff “Jane Doe”, now in her late 20s, was sexually assaulted by Mr. Felix while attending Blackstock Junior High School in Oxnard, CA during 2000-2001.
The complaint also alleges that Mr. Felix coerced a teacher’s aide into having sex in his classroom and sexually abused two other students. One of these victims confided in the teacher’s aide about the abuse, yet the aide did not report it. Mr. Felix was arrested in 2002 and pled guilty in 2004 to several felonies of child sex abuse. He was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
